JoJo Siwa Details Surprising Girlfriend Dakayla Wilson With $30,000 Birthday Trip

JoJo Siwa spared no expense for her girlfriend's birthday.
The Dance Moms alum revealed that for Dakayla Wilson's 19th birthday, she spent about $30,000 to ensure the perfect celebration.
"We’re about to take her on the best birthday extravaganza, we’re going to Hawaii," JoJo told E! News at the Gala of The Stars Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. Oct. 9. "It’s going to be a lot of fun."
The 21-year-old continued, "But look, it’s not about the money. It’s about the person, it’s about the time and the thing you do and the experience." (for more from JoJo, tune in to E! News at 11 p.m.)
The "Karma" singer and Dakayla, who will turn 19 Oct. 11, made their relationship Instagram official in August, several months after they met on the set of So You Think You Can Dance.
"She was on the dance floor. I was not. I was chilling in a judge's chair," JoJo recalled to E!. "She was crushing it, she placed second in the show."
As for how their romance is progressing?
"We are very madly in love,” the former Nickelodeon star gushed. “She is a very, very special girl. I'm very lucky to have her in my life."
And the couple of a few months, didn’t shy away with sharing their favorite traits about the other.
"Her work ethic," Dakayla, who later joined JoJo on the red carpet, said. "She's on it. She's very good about what she does."
As for JoJo? "The way that she opens up and the way that I've seen her in the last three months be able to shift her perspective on life and take deeper breaths and grow as a human being the way she grows as a human being," she noted. "It's a beautiful thing to see because it's not easy to grow."
JoJo continued, "And her lips, they're cute!"
